What we collect
When you create a ScreenLaps account, we collect your name, email address, and any profile information you provide. Additionally, once you use the extension or web app, we store the screenshots and recordings you choose to save to the cloud, along with basic usage data (such as storage used and feature activity) needed to run the product.
How we use it
We use your data to provide and improve ScreenLaps: storing and syncing your media, enforcing plan limits, sending account-related emails (password resets, billing receipts), and providing customer support.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run ScreenLaps, including payment processing (Stripe), cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), and optional sign-in via Google. These providers only receive the data they need to perform their function.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as theme and language). However, we don't use third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can access, update, or delete your account and its content at any time from your dashboard settings, or by contacting us directly.
